Rachel enjoys working with a variety of people and has recruited participants all over the United States from diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She is good at explaining medical terminology. Rachel is proud of her ability to talk to just about anyone, and build rapport quickly. Her work on many research projects includes going door to door on an Indian reservation and interviewing high school student athletes following concussions. Most recently, Rachel was a Senior Research Assistant at Kaiser Permanente on studies of pregnant women.
