James goes to a lot of meetings as a representative of the HIV+ community on the Executive Committee; Steering Committee; Kaposi’s Sarcoma Working Group; Non-AIDS Defining Cancer (NADC) Working Group; NADC’s Skin and Conjunctiva Task Force; NADC’s Head and Neck Cancers Focus Group; NADC’s Lung, Head, and Neck Task Force; Outreach, Education, Recruitment, and Retention Committee; Patient Navigator Committee; Behavioral Research Working Group, and International Activities Committee.
Before joining the AMC, James practiced and taught psychiatry as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Hawaii and in San Francisco.
