Derrick is one of the AMC Community Representatives on the ANCHOR study; he serves as the community member of the HPV Subcommittee.

He currently works as a Care Navigator and Counselor at the Shanti Project in San Francisco. Derrick is dedicated to the community and helping the community through HIV advocacy. Formerly, Derrick was a member of the Ryan White CARE Council and Prevention Council in San Francisco.

Now, in addition to the ANCHOR Study, he is involved with several HIV-related research networks to advocate and represent the communities that he passionately serves.
