Michael has been a community educator, advocate, and activist since the 1990’s. Michael has also participated in a number of clinical trials since that time.
He has served on CABs and boards with the ACTG, HPTN, Colorado ADAP, and Denver Ryan White Planning Council. He has also been involved in ATAC (AIDS Treatment Activists Coalition) for 19 years.
In addition, Michael is the director of TEN (Treatment Education Network). TEN is a grass-roots non-profit, all volunteer run, that provides educational programs to persons living with HIV in Colorado. Michael is very passionate about empowering people, and fiercely fighting HIV Stigma.
Michael served as the National ANCHOR CAB Chair from March 2019 - March 2021.
