Amber Trauth

Amber received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Classical Studies, with a minor in Chemistry, from Louisiana State University A&M in 2009. She went on to complete her Master’s in Public Health focusing on Behavioral and Community Health from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2015. Her focus in graduate school was centred on reproductive care and reducing the prevalence of STIs/HIV.

Shortly after graduating, she took a position working as a health educator and health center assistant for a local community health organization that focuses on contraception access and women’s health. In late 2018, Amber accepted the position as a Clinical Research Coordinator for Dr. Hagensee at LSUHSC for the ANCHOR study as well as Dr. Hagensee’s HPV related research projects.

When Amber is not working, she is usually out an about spending time with her family and friends, being an avid video gamer, playing escape rooms, and tending to her feline companions.
