Shantia White is the Patient Care Coordinator for the General Surgery Department at the Hutch.

Shantia has been a Registered Nurse for 17 years and has worked for Montefiore Medical Center for 12 years. Her journey in nursing includes, Medical Oncology/ Medical Surgical nursing, Emergency Medicine, Urology, and Home Care intake Coordinator.

Shantia studied at Borough Manhattan Community College for her Associates of Science Degree in Nursing, The College of New Rochelle for her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing, and Pace University for her Masters of Arts Degree in Nursing Education. Along with her role as the PCC here at the Hutch, she is also a Clinical Adjunct for Mercy College nursing program.

Shantia is a loving wife and a mother of 2 wonderful boys, ages 16 and 5. In her free time, Shantia loves to travel, read, and enjoy table games with her family.
