Karolina earned her master’s degree in public health in Poland. In 2017 she moved to Seattle to pursue her career in research. She completed a certificate in Clinical Trials at the University of Washington.
She has worked as a study coordinator at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason in Seattle since 2019. She is engaged in different areas of cancer clinical research, working mainly on studies focused on cancers of gastrointestinal and urinary tracts.
Besides being a study coordinator, she serves as a member of the Institutional Review Board at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA where she reviews research documentation and ensures that it protects the rights and welfare of research participants.
Karolina loves working with people and enjoys supporting patients in their journey through clinical trials.
