Shelby Collins, MSN, APRN, NP-C

Ms. Collins earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Florida in 2011, where she concentrated her focus in public health and was recognized with the Vergie Pafford award for Excellence in Community Health upon graduation. She earned her Master’s in Nursing with a focus in Women’s and Adult health from Emory University in 2012, and has since focused her career in HIV research with the Emory School of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases, beginning with the Women’s Interagency HIV Study WIHS in 2014.

Ms. Collins has an extensive background as a nurse practitioner, working in various community health settings including local health departments, correctional healthcare facilities and federally qualified health centers. Improving access to care for patients living with HIV through research and education is a major career focus of hers.

In her free time she enjoys traveling, live music and spending time with her husband and their fur babies: three dogs- Sophie, Piper and Hayes.
