ANCHOR National CAB

What is a CAB?

A Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a volunteer community association that helps study researchers and staff better learn how to serve the communities to whom such research pertains.

THE MISSION OF THE ANCHOR STUDY CAB IS TO:

  1. Provide community feedback on ethical, practical, and other concerns regarding the conduct and implementation of the study, including feedback on ANCHOR study recruitment and advertising materials;
  2. Identify obstacles to the recruitment and retention of participants and convey this to the ANCHOR protocol team and site staff;
  3. Raise awareness about the ANCHOR study and its rationale to people living with HIV and affected communities.
