Dr. Ofotokun’s career is devoted to the care for women living with HIV/AIDS, conducting translational research in HIV/AIDS, and the training and mentoring of the next generation of clinician scientists. Specifically, his research focuses on antiretroviral clinical pharmacology and long-term complications of HIV disease management among HIV-infected women. His work is well supported by extramural funding and he is the co-PI of NIH funded Atlanta Women’s Interagency HIV Study (WIHS), and the Program Director of the Emory Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH).
