Nora is a Boston native and passionate LGBTQ+ health advocate. She attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst's School of Public Health and Health Sciences, where she received her MPH in Health Promotion and Policy. With deep interest in social justice and health equity, Nora conducted community-based research at her university focusing on sexuality education and outcomes for both youth and adults using a Reproductive Justice lens. Throughout her time at UMass, Nora's involvement in organizing with her LGBTQ+ community inspired her to pursue a career that could help reduce the disparities in queer health outcomes.

Her commitment to her home community brought her back to Boston upon graduation, where she spent the first 2 years of the COVID-19 pandemic as a Contact Tracer and Community Health Worker. Nora's growing interest in sexual health research led her to Boston Medical Center, where she joined the ANCHOR study team as lead coordinator in April 2022. Nora's patient-centered and trauma-informed approach to care and research has fostered meaningful connections with BMC's ANCHOR participants that she hopes will continue for years to come.

When not at the hospital, Nora also works as a swimming instructor for differently abled youth and adults at her local YMCA. She enjoys hiking, swimming, dancing, and making new friends.
