Originally from Warsaw, Poland, Ewa lived in New York City for 10 years and then moved to Tucson. Ewa is bilingual and has served as a translator at Tucson Juvenile Court for a short period of time. While attending the University of Arizona, she worked in the Plant Pathology Department as a student laboratory technician. After graduating she worked at the Arizona Cancer Center and Department of Pathology for next ten years as a Research Specialist Senior and Laboratory manager. Over the years of employment at the U of A she has been affiliated with various departments conducting cancer research including two years at the Tucson VA Hospital at their Tissue Biorepository.
