Joseph Terlizzi, MD, FASCRS is a colorectal surgeon at Laser Surgery Care and Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  He completed his fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia before joining Laser Surgery Care in 2015.  He trained in general surgery at Rutgers University and obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. 

Dr. Terlizzi’s research focus is HPV-related anal disease.  Besides HPV-related conditions, his clinical interests include colorectal cancer screening, digestive health, and treating benign anorectal conditions.
