Dr. Barroso is an Associate Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Wake Forest School of Medicine. He is focusing his academic interests in human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, in particular co-infection with HIV and HPV. He have recently started anal dysplasia screening with anal paps and high-resolution anoscopy thought the Infectious Diseases Subspecialty Clinic.
